 Great tool for keeping short hair short June 11, 2008

Bottom line: I love this clipper. Living in hot weather I like keeping my hair shooort. This clipper allows me to do it myself without asking for someone else to cut my hair for me. It does save me the money for something that doesn't take much effort to do. I use it once week. However, I am on my second one, I travel alot and when I plugged the first clipper it into the hotel outlet overseas the travel adapter I was using accidently trip the switch to 230V. Needless to say the voltage burned it out. Therefore, this is the reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it does not come with worldwide voltage electrical cord. Remington uses worldwide voltage electrical cord for some of thier other razors; Why couldn't they have done the same for this clipper?

The first time I used it I didn't realize it had the comb for the shortest cut so I got a shorter cut than anticipated. When I put on the adjustable comb it worked great and now I have the convenience of a haircut whenever I want at a very reasonable price. It was easy to use, comfortable and got the job done quickly. I would recommend it.

I am quite impressed with this item. It works as advertised, and cuts amazingly close. It is easy to clean, and the rechargeable battery makes the clipper easy to maneuver. I can actually shave my head faster than I can shave my face.
That said, the sideburn clipper does not work well, which is strange considering how well engineered the rest of the product is. However, I can's praise this product enough. It could not be easier to use.

For me, I have always been hesitant to cut my own hair, even though I have gone with the simple #3 all over. Mostly because my hair is very fine, or thin, and lines from uneven cuts show up in a big way. Lots of barbers can even give me a hatchet job.
Because of the curved design of this product, and the fact that I was sick of paying $14 per haircut for a simple all over, I decided to give it a try. The first time I have given myself a haircut was today.
Simply stated, it works great! No lines at all, and it takes less than 10 minutes to do it. That is less than it takes to drive down to my barber shop. This product is going to save me a ton of time and money.
The only downside I can see so far is I have to take a shower after cutting in order to get all the little hairs off. All said, it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I am thrilled with the product.

I was skeptic of this item before I bought it. Now I LOVE IT! I was using a smaller hair/beard trimmer to shave my head, military style, before I bought this. When I first used this I went all over my head to ensure that I cut everything off. Afterwards I didnt believe the amount of time that I had saved by using it compared to my old remington. So I took out my old shaver and put it to my scalp and nothing came off! Did the job of a small hand held shaver in half the time!!! I highly recommend this to anyone that likes a good and easy on the scalp hair cut. Its also adjustable by using a wheel from 1"-4". Simply plugs in to the wall with a small 2 prong charger. Includes another attachment, I think for longer hair or something, and some oil. Simply awesome product.
