Cheap. But it does the job. January 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you can guess by the price this is your basic guitar case. It is much better than a chipboard case or a gig bag, but not as rugged as cases made by SKB, Gator, etc. This case will fit mostly any Fender or Fender-like guitars and if you are careful, it should last you a long time. The latches are strong and durable and close tight. It has a nice size compartment inside for straps, extra strings, picks, etc. I purchased this because I am now doing many club dates and needed a case for my Strat but I didn't have the $100 available to replace the case it came with. This is definitely not the type of case to buy if you doing a lot of touring and is far from being ATA approved but good enough if you are doing gigs accessible by car and you do your own load in and load out.
A Great Alternative to Gig Bag or Cardboard Box September 15, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I remember when it was unheard of that you could buy a guitar and not get a rugged case with it. Today you're lucky to get a gig bag and most of the time have to settle for the cardboard box it came in (if you purchased it new.)
I've got a small fortune invested in guitars so I insist on having sturdy cases to store them in. However, buy enough cases and your soon running out of guitar money. Some cases can run you as much $150, or more.
That's what makes this case such a great bargain. At under $40 bucks, I wasn't expecting the quality that I actually received. The case is solid, the lining is luxuriant, and it's sturdy enough to protect your six-stringed investment.
Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't recommend using this case for check-in luggage, but for every day use it's promising to hold up just fine.
These are a great deal and if I can find one that'll fit my EA-250 Epiphone, then I'm set!
