Product Description The String Swing S1 Home and Studio hanger has become the standard for hanging your instrument securely and conveniently. You say you'd like to practice more but digging your guitar out of the closet just turns you off. Hang it where you can get at it quick. You can adjust the width of the yoke to fit your guitar or mandolin. Rubber tubing insures that your instrument won't get scratched.

well made August 23, 2008 this guitar wall hanger is well made, i bought it because i have a small place and thought it be good to get the guitar off the floor and on the wall to free up space, turns out my wall space is small too so where the heck am i going to install it? my problem but the hanger is well made and looks good.
Strong and Reliable August 3, 2008 It's been 2 1/2 years since I hung this on the wall. It's very sturdy and securely holds my acoustic and I bought another for my heavy Strat. Make sure you use the foam rings for then end of the fingers, they prevent slippage. Mount to a beam with the included 2" screws for the best strength.
Good for Guitars, but not Banjos. May 19, 2008 Works beautifully with my guitar- nice and sturdy, keeps it away from the wall, etc. However, it doesn't work that well with my banjo. I guess the head is too narrow and the weight rests on the tuners. It's a bit unnerving. I guess I should have bought one specifically for it....
Anyway, it's a great guitar hanger at an excellent price. Buy one!
Does the job, but use a base support to protect the neck April 16, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wall hangers are good space-saving ideas, but I'm one of those who thinks they can stress necks, depending on the body/neck weight distribution and balance. I made my own hanging bases - just a carved slab of wood, really - to support the instrument from the bottom. The top hanger now just serves as a rest, but depending on the guitar's balance I'd recommend a heavy rubber band or something to stretch across the prongs if there's any tendency for the guitar to tilt forward.
cool March 26, 2008 It works, yes they are different colors if you buy more than one. I don't really care though.
