I love this epilator! I was a consistent waxer before, and I love being able to get the shorter, sparser hairs as they grow in, instead of waiting for "enough" long hair to make waxing again worthwhile. This is my first epilator, and I'm SO glad I got it! I don't think the pain is as bad as waxing- I use it on my legs and underarms. It will pay itself off shortly as well.

i had an emjoi which was much better. i read all the reviews for this one and i went for it. it definitely is not as good, but i kept it and will use it until it gets old, but i when it does i will buy an emjoi.

I'm new to epilation so naturally I was worried about the pain. It did hurt for the first few minutes but gradually got better. It is definitely worth the pain because instead of shaving every other day, now I can go a few weeks without worrying about it.

I've used an epilady for the last 20 years. . .not easy to get used to, but by now my legs are broken in. I like the light on this and it leaves my legs feeling fine. I have always loved the "no stubble" feel of the epilady. This one seems to leave less stray hairs. Use it every week or so.

I purchased this product after seeing so many highly rated reviews and the price wasn't too bad of an investment either. The product does what is says and I like it very much so far. And while there is some pain when your hair is being yanked out, it goes away in a second and you are left with smooth skin. And while Ive only used it twice, Ive noticed you kinda just get use to it and the "pain" becomes expected and its more of a very small discomfort / prickle and really isn't an issue anymore. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because its not cordless and there the little hairs that get yanked out kinda fly everywhere or build up in the little gadget. So after each use, you have to take the head attachment off and clean it out with the included mini brush thingy. Just good upkeep practices to keep the lil guy running, takes like 2 minutes. It's a good investment if you are too lazy to shave/cut yourself every other day and its quick too, prob less than 10 minutes for both legs if you do a pass every 4-5 days or so. Im im pretty sure ill work into a nice routine after a few more weeks =o)
