 Sleeping Much Better! September 7, 2008
I bought this because of the reviews and because I prefer some kind of white noise to block out everything else that seems to wake me up. It works great for myself and my 10 month old! I also like how small it is, very handy to take on vacation with you!! And its better to me than having the Air conditioner or a fan running all the time!

I bought this product to be able to sleep better with a husband who snores. He still snores and I can still hear him but the Sleep Mate has taken the edge off outside, inside noises. It has been a great help and I do recommend it to any one that needs to block unwanted sounds.

I bought this product after reading reviews at Amazon.com. I have problem waking up several times a night, but when using this product when I wake up at night I can go back to sleep right away. That's was amazing.
Good but wish it was a little louder September 3, 2008
The white noise this little machine makes is great - just a soft, constant whooshing sound of air being passed through the slots in the sides and top of the machine. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons: I think it's a bit on the pricey side for how simple it is, and because it would be nice if it could go louder. (Although you can adjust the tone and volume somewhat by rotating the top and side panels, the maximum volume is still a bit quiet.)
 "No Sleep" machine August 29, 2008
This machine may work for some people, but it kept me awake all night. I purchased it to mask the sounds of my snoring spouse, but all it did was add to the noise level in the room. I placed it in several different locations in my bedroom but it didn't help. I finally decided to place it in the shipping box and return it. So much for the "natural" method - I guess my next step will be sleep-aid drugs.
