Better than average coffee for $$$ less than coffees slightly better August 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been brewing this coffee for years and like my title indicated, it is better than average but much less than coffees only slightly better. Although I have purchased the 4 packs from Amazon before, the price here has gone up. I can buy in my area 1 12oz bag at Target for just over $4. It turns out to be with tax $3 less for 4 bags than you can get here on line.

I am a coffee latte drinking snob. I've tried all the name brands, and have even bought the emergency canned coffee. I drink coffee every day, twice a day. However,I have never heard of this brand and the reviews grab my attention. Disclosure, I am a big fan of anything 1940s, must have been a past life. So I was also curious about how coffee tasted back then. I was very pleasantly surprised! It is very smooth and it has a full body. The aroma is very uplifting. Very good cup of coffee as far as drip coffee goes.
Boy Oh Boy! April 22, 2008 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
The Reviewers saying: Oh, it's so smooth. No bitterness Here! And what do I do? Buy a pack of 4 only to find out it is not really all that smooth, capisce? Yes, of course I can add water till it feels smooth but I thought this coffee was genuinely smooth. It is not. Besides that it is in the same category of Dunkin Donuts, not more not less and that is not saying much. I am getting to the point that the reviews sell me faster than the product itself and thanks a lot, the majority of times the reviews are right on the money. People that buy knows and I listen. Not in this case! This is not the promised smooth coffee, it is bitter, really. But of course it is being consumed for spoiled we are not. Cheap Bastards is what we are that we are expecting high quality smoothness at such a convenient and inexpensive price. You get what you pay for unless you get extremely lucky and find at bargain prices a superior product. This is not it. By we being CB I am talking about my Tribe, of course and this one gets a solid 3 Stars just like Dunkin Donuts!

I love the coffee. It's all I drink since I discovered it a couple of years ago. I'm disappointed in the pricing, though, since I can buy it much cheaper at the local supermarkets.
Eight O'Clock Coffee is wonderful! January 31, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
When I switched coffee brands and made Eight O'Clock coffee for my husband, he commented on how good the coffee was. This brand is so much better than the other leading brands. It has a rich, robust flavor.
