 Taste Great, Just Stay Away if You're Ketogenic August 11, 2008
Don't eat too many or you'll get cramps.
I was on a ketogenic diet and thought I could just get all my fiber from these pills. No sir, they will make you cramp really bad and they will kick you out of ketosis. So beware.
I think it kicked me out of ketosis because it does in fact have dextrose in its ingredient list which is a fast digested sugar. It says it only adds a trivial amount of sugar and their are 4 grams of carbs and sublisted is 4 grams of fiber. So one would conjecture that there really is only a trivial amount. Who knows what the true problem is.
Overall they are great and taste like candy. Just dont eat too many.

Healthy fiber is needed for a healthy body. Personally I was sick of hearing my intestines twist and turn and decided to stock up on the fiber I'd been missing out on. guarantees a happy poop in the morning. Doesn't give you gas or the urge to run to
the bathroom, like others do. And it is veggie fiber.

This product is very good the supplemental fiber is needed these days because food is processed and cuts down on nutrients

I have been using this product for over two years to help manage constipation problems, a side effect of pain medication. They do not have the side effects that accompany Milk of Magnesia or cramps from other products. Amazon generally has the best prices available. I also send them to my 96 year old mother who uses them to help control diarrhea. She also likes them because they practically disolve in your mouth if you have problems chewing with false teeth.
