After previously having ordered the Wild Oats brand version of this tuna (not currently still offered by Amazon - or anywhere else I can find online), unfortunately this doesn't measure up although it is better than probably most other brands. It does not have nearly the consistently excellent quality as the Wild Oats brand.
Also the tab top opening cans are a major problem, particularly for anyone with dexterity limitations. Obviously meant to be handier and easier to open, they can instead be a menace leading to small but nasty finger cuts. The short can does not provide much easy gripping/bracing surface (especially when the liquid tends to spill out messily) while pulling the tab to get the top open.
Conclusion: Although the tuna itself is relatively good, it does not compare well - in either quality or price - with the Wild Oats brand I used to order from Amazon (but lately has not been offered). I probably will try a different brand next time rather than re-order the Crown Prince. But...
P L E A S E BRING BACK THE EXCELLENT AND MUCH BETTER VALUE WILD OATS BRAND!!!!!
 Delicious Low Salt SOLID Tuna June 26, 2007

As a diabetic with hypertension, I was so happy to find a source for low salt, low fat canned tuna, I jumped at a chance to buy it at, to my amazement, Amazon. I was amazed when I opened it and found that they were not kidding when they said it was solid! It was firm, instead of like the mush you usually get, and had great flavor. To be able to enjoy a guilt free tuna salad or tuna casserole made with whole wheat noodles and low fat and salt mushroom soup was a treat!
Three friends agreed to share the case with me and I suspect I will not have any trouble getting them to share the next case I order. Thank you Amazon and Crown Prince!
