When it comes to anchovies, it is worth the few extra cents to buy Crown Prince. They are consistently dependable in flavor and never mushy.
Buying them by case at Amazon saves frustration at the store when they are out of stock and only carry an inferior brand. Crown Prince delivers to even the pickiest anchovite and Amazon delivers in product, price and service.

I thought it was a pretty good deal but I was not used to eating anchovies with so many bones and such a flabby texture (I prefer firmer). You can find way better and cheaper at Treader Joe's without having to buy 25 packs.
Excellent Taste - Larger Size - Good Price October 7, 2007
My older son and I love anchovies. So I can't seem to keep them in stock. I love being able to buy them in bulk like this. These cans are larger than those at my local grocery, and they cost less than I was paying for the smaller cans. Excellent taste. The package arrived in excellent condition.

Excellent value. Considerly less costly than purchasing the item in a grocery store. If you eat or cook with a lot of anchovies this is definitely the way to buy.
