We have tried different types of jerky and my husband and really like the flavor of this brand. We would like it if there were a little more to a package because we usually share it and it seems to be gone before we know it. It is a little pricy so we only eat it occasionally.

For taste, health , original american tradition, low fat, high protein, melt in your mouth flavor, juiceiness, tenderness, conservationism, love for what the North American continent originally had plenty of, happiness that from almost losing one of the best meats in the world it is now available again, and hoping that Buffalo meat eventually replaces a substantial portion of the present beef and pork consumption, this meat product earns the highest recommendation.

Definitely a very good jerky - not dry or chewy at all. Very tasty - did not need any extra flavoring. We went thru the 8 packs pretty fast even though they were supposed to last a while...

I originally purchased this jerky at because it was the ONLY jerky at the big box warehouse that wasn't full of Nitrates, Nitrites, and MSG. It is more dry than the Original flavor Beef Jerky from Golden Valley. I give it a four instead of a five because it tends to have fibrous 'strings' in it and several thin ribbons of fat (per bag, not per piece). The flavor is very good, simple and 'sweet'(not sugar sweet, but good meat sweet). The price on Amazon is Excellent. I still buy this jerky but prefer the texture of the Golden Valley Beef Jerky since it's not quite the jaw workout that this Buffalo Jerky is. All in all, I am very impressed with the high quality of this company's products.
