Probably Not Organic July 28, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used these eggs in a kugelhopf recipe and there was no problem at all. I am thrilled because the organic eggs we buy cost 40 cents each.

Bob's Red Mill Whole dried egg June 26, 2007 Could not find this product in any local store. They do the trick in every thing that I've used them in, waffles, pancakes, bread, meatloaf. Handy item. And fresh eggs seem to be pricy of late, so there is a money saving factor also. UPDATE: The equivalent price to whole eggs by the dozen is about $2.75, so you are paying a hefty premium for the convenience of the dry product. Interestingly, dry whole eggs were a detested food shelf/welfare item in recent years.
Not what I hoped December 17, 2006 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
Although these may be fine for baking (haven't tried them this way yet), they tasted terrible when cooked by themselves as scrambled eggs. They tasted like the smell of rotten eggs--I will hope they work out better for baking since I have four bags to get through.
Powdered Eggs are convenient! August 8, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This item is very easy to use and great for camping. No need to worry about eggs breaking unexpectedly. Also good as an additive for a ferret's diet.
