4 out of 5 stars If you use this stuff - Amazon has the best price I've found...   August 28, 2008

This is certainly something you NEVER use unless REALLY diluted! The good news is that you probably don't need it if you eat lots of whole foods (fruit, veggies, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds, etc) since you are almost certainly getting your needs met from the food. If you need it, Amazon is the best price I've found particularly if you avail yourself of the subscribe and save option.

5 out of 5 stars So far so good!   July 23, 2008

My naturopathic doctor recommended this product when I complained that my body didn't seem to be absorbing the water that I drank. It seemed that no matter how much water I drank, I still felt thirsty, and all the water I drank was just flushing right through me. She suggested that I add a few drops of this product to my water bottle that I sip from all day at work. I couldn't find the product locally, so I was thrilled to find it here on Amazon--my favorite one-stop shop!

On my first try, I added 40 drops to my 750 ml water bottleCamelBak BPA-Free Better Water Bottle, and I found the taste to be pretty offensive. I then watered it down further, but could still taste it. The next time I filled up my water bottle, I decided to add just 10 drops. I figured that if I typically refill my bottle 3-4 times a day, then I'd still be getting the recommended 40 drops a day. This method seems to be working well--I don't have to force myself to consume a spoonful all at once, and the taste is so mild that I hardly notice it at all.

After the first day of use, I noticed that although I consumed as much water as usual, I was not in the bathroom eliminating it as frequently. Hopefully I'll start to have more energy as my hydration and electrolytes achieve a better balance.

1 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, Awful metallic Taste!   April 22, 2008

This product is a waste of money, and my doctor told me that these minerals in liquid forms are no better for you than a soild vitamin mineral supplement you can buy at the grocery store. I recommend Solgar, mulit vit. and mineral products, as a safe company. These drops made by traceminerals, in Utah taste like a brass. They must be diluted with a gallon of water, yet still create an awful metallic taste, not good for people with MCS, or that are sensitive to metals. Also it seems these specific drops can mess up your thyroid, due to its high iodine content, and lithium component.
It also contains, arsenic, uranium, and other "trace minerals" in small amounts, that they don't mention. I reported this product to the FDA and they said that they had other complaints as well, but no deaths or anything, just a few people getting sick...
I can say, that it made nautious, so I vow to never take anything from this company again. They get the minerals from a section of the great salt lake, which is full of endocrine distuptors, heavy metals, and toxic chemicals found in landfill runoff into the lake. Why would you drink contaminated lake water, treated with chlorine? It's good to know what you are getting, cause thats all it is. If you are sensitive to endocrine problems DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT, it will only make you worse!

5 out of 5 stars delicious water   January 21, 2008

I use RO water and this is a splendid inprovement to the taste and 'smoothness' of the water. I have a big jug with a tap and add a squirt every time I refill the water jug.

These trace minrlas are amazing-just a few drops in our water bottles makes the difference between dragging and and being very alert and clearheaded, even after insufficient sleep. They really keep you going! i highly recommend these drops for your physical health and mental well being.
