safe and effective September 21, 2008 safe and effective product, one step closer to a greener you! LOVE ordering through amazon to save money, resources, and time!
Works very well - and it's GREEN! September 15, 2008 This works well for me... cleans dishes and doesn't leave spots (even without a rinse agent). It also does not cause me reactions as I suffer with products that contain phenol or bleach. Thanks 7th Generation!
it works September 10, 2008 I've been using this product for about four or five years. A local store was closing and I was able to buy it rather cheaply. When my supply ran out, I was looking for a deal. I think I found it here.
I like the fact that it doesn't damage the environment - at least, not much. And it works. I've not had problems with 98% of the dishes I've put in the dishwasher.
Great Eco-Friendly Option August 31, 2008 Seventh Generation's Automatic Dishwasher Powder is great. I love that it cleans our dishes without the harmful addition of bleach. However, the one downside is because it does not have bleach or ammonia if we leave the dishes washed and don't open the door at least a crack all the dishes will smell musty. I think this is a small price to pay for much safer product for my family though.
Etches Plastics August 10, 2008 Every time I run my dishwasher with one of the major brands of dishwasher detergent, my son has an asthma attack. First, I tried the Seventh Generation powdered dishwasher detergent. My son didn't have asthma attacks with it, but it etched my plastics badly. Then I tried the Seventh Generation Lemon gel. It does not cause my son to have asthma attacks and it doesn't etch my plastics. I definitely recomend the gel. I have recently started using the Seventh Generation Laundry detergent, and I like that, too.
