 Miracle worker!!! August 4, 2008
On my flight home from Sonoma County, I rolled two bottles of red wine (cabernets) into my clothes and placed them inside a wine box. Then I packed the rest of my stuff around it. Due to baggage handling, the bottles broke and EVERYTHING was soaked and stained purple. I was devastated! Thinking I could savage the dark clothes, I rushed to the store and bought every stain remover in sight. This was the ONLY product that worked!! It even COMPLETELY removed the wine from the linen, white dress the bottle was rolled in (in hind sight, I probably should've used a black dress)!! AMAZING!!! I managed to remove EVERY STAIN! WOW!!!!
It Works For Me April 14, 2008
I use the fat/oil Carbona all the time. I don't know of anything that works better for oil and food in general. It doesn't fade colors. Most of my clothes that I use these for are cotton.
I was surprised to read that other reviewer had success with a regular spray plus All detergent. I wish I could have had success with Shout or Spray-n-Wash, but those didn't work for me. I tried them for many years & would often resort to taking clothes to the cleaners to get out the spots. I do consider All to be a good detergent, so perhaps the use of All had something to do with the other writers experience.
I have had times where the first Carbona application + wash didn't get it out. So, I give it a second round with application & wash. Mostly, one time does the trick.
I use liberally on spots, and think these should come in larger bottles. I'm happy that I can buy bulk from Amazon, as they provide much better bulk pricing.

All the Carbona Stain Devils are phenomenal. Pick the right formula and your stain will be gone. I use this one (fat and grease) all the time -- my hubby isn't very careful when cooking and his shirts are often splattered with grease, which I don't usually discover until after the first wash. Carbona removes the spots even after a wash and trip through the dryer. LOVE these products!

I was desperate to find something that would take out oil/petroleum stains. I found Carbona Stain Devil #5 here on Amazon. I didn't have much to lose, so I ordered it. After using, there was no change in the shirt stain. (Perhaps I didn't use it right? I don't know.) Luckily, I did try a combination of Spray & Wash and High-Concentrated All. This combination happened to work, before my g/f found out what I did to the new shirt she got me.

This is by far the best spot remover I have ever used to remove grease and oil from clothing. I just put a little of the stain remover on the grease spot before washing, then wash as usual..... and the grease spot is almost always gone with the first washing!! So glad to be able to find this instead of having to buy the whole set of different kinds of stain removers by Carbona. I have that also, but use the grease and oil remover more than any. Thank you!
