1 out of 5 stars Gagged me it was so incredibly revolting! BLECH   September 19, 2008
I have had other Acai drinks so it's not the taste of Acai that I find revolting - just this stuff. it's thick, kinda gloppy and has a nasty vinegary aftertaste. I tried filtering it through a gold coffee filter to get rid of the sediments and that helped the texture but didn't do much to improve the taste. Ultimately, the only way I was able to drink this stuff and not waste it was to mix it with some apple juice or grape juice. The best way to explain the taste is to compare it to the juice you get when you press wine grapes. Wine grapes aren't very sweet and when you press them, you get a thick, sourish juice. That's similar to this crap. Maybe you could put some of this into a smoothie with a banana but I think you might be wasting a good banana. My best advice is to try this before you buy a whole case of it. maybe you'll like it and think I'm wrong. If you do, great! But if, like me, you find the product is simply ghastly, you'll have saved some money.

3 out of 5 stars No too bad - but there are better ones   September 7, 2008
this is one of the stronger acai drinks that i have had out on the market. i would describe the taste as an earthy, berrylike flavor. Warning - this drink does have a little more solids than others, hence its unappealing color. This is supposed to give more antioxidant oompf. Some people may find the gritty feel a turn-off.

5 out of 5 stars Best one in the market!   September 5, 2008

I have tried other brands such as Sambazon, Zola and Bossa Nova. I like Bossa Nova out of the three since it is lighter in texture but I must say it does taste watered down so I'm not too sure if I'm getting the full benefits. Number one choice though is O.N.E! I like the combination of the acerola cherry and acai. It does have a slight chocolatey flavor to it but its very minute. Some people are concerned about the sugar but as you know fructose is the main form of sugar in here. And fructose is easily digested by the body unlike other artificial sweeteners. So I say drink up!

5 out of 5 stars The Best Acai ever!!!!   July 22, 2008

Acai Berry may be one of the healthiest foods on the planet. The acai berry is one of the world's most interesting and unique foods. It may also be one of its healthiest. Chock-full of antioxidants, amino acids, AND essential fatty acids, the tiny little acai berry packs a nutritional wallop rarely seen in the natural world. In fact, some experts consider it to be the world's most "complete" natural food.
As a Brazilian I may say that it is the only juice that tastes like the fresh acai berry, it is wonderful!!!!
The Acai contains 33 times the cholesterol fighting anthocyanin than a glass of red wine and it may also provides several cardiovascular health benefits, that is why I drink it every single day after working out.
O.N.E.'s acai berry juice is the best on the shelves or online, it is made from fresh acai fruit grown wildly in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest, so it is like tasting the berry directly from the tree, again, it is really amazing how this O.N.E.'s juice tastes exactly like the berries.
I've tasted all the brands available and O.N.E.'s Amazon Acai is really the one that not tastes artificially.
It is great!!!!
