My dog loves them too! July 7, 2008
My dog has a sensitive stomach and isn't particularly food-driven, however, he seems to go crazy for the cheese flavored Newman dog treats and they don't mess with his stomach.
I give him one each night when it's time to "kennel up" and as soon as he sees me reach for the bag, he races for his kennel before I have even give the command. Success!
It's important to note that they are corn and wheat free (great for dogs with allergies), and don't have a strong odor that will rub off on your hands.
Highly recommended!
Favorite treat July 1, 2008
Our dog has never been motivated by food/treat. And she refuses Milkbones - has a neat trick of dropping them in the wastebasket when the carwash guy gives them to her. But she'll stand next to her treat bowl when she knows they've been filled with Newman's Peanutbutter cookies. Loves them. So glad Amazon carries them so we can now purchase them in bulk.
Our dogs' favorite treat June 27, 2008
If cuteness is important to you, the heart-shaped treats fit the bill. All I know is that when I want my dogs to come in from the backyard I simply have to shake this bag and immediately there are sitting on the back porch waiting for a Newman's snack.

Great dog treats April 14, 2008
I'm a dog walker and all of the dogs that I work with just love these treats and I like them because they are organic and I know that I'm giving my dogs a healthy snack. I buy the size for small dogs because they also work well for the larger breeds. You can easily put a handfull of them in your pocket for those times when you are out walking or training your dog. The only thing that I would change is I wish that they came in a larger bag because there would be less packaging waste and I could buy them in bulk.
