These are much cheaper than continually buying alkaline batteries. Duracell makes a charger that will charge these in as little as 15 minutes.

They hold charge for a couple of weeks lying around if unused. Got the low end of the amp-hour for my purchase (1800). Better than other lesser brands that I have in the actual available voltage on full charge. Unsure about endurance.

Need some batteries that you won't have to throw out a month later? Have a wireless mouse or keyboard that uses AAA batteries? I suggest these little powerhouses. You can keep reloading them, which is great. I suggest you shell out a little more money for a decent charger, otherwise you're likely to only have these last a little while.

We started buying rechargable batteries when our son was born and can't imagine life without them. We go through so many batteries, it's amazing. Being able to recharge them is great and these seem to last a long time.
