Fizzy Cola August 31, 2008 Not crazy about these at all. I don't mind the "sour" taste, but a little too much for me. Like the regular cola bottles better.
addicting flavor, a bit tough to chew August 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
yum... these are a delicious alternative for those who like sour patch kids and other sweet/sour gummies, and they are definitely haribo quality. my only complaint is the requirement that your jaw have the constitution of a bear trap to clamp down on some of these. they're only slightly tough at first (and misleading with their deliciousness,) but once you've had a few your mouth puts up the white flag until you've given your choppers a chance to cool down. i guess this can actually be seen as a good thing, because you are less prone to gorge on them (unlike the haribo gold bears, i just don't know when to quit with those).
overall, very good.
Really not that good in my opinion. August 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these because I imagined they would be like Cola-flavored sour patch kids. Soft, chewy, sour, & delicious. Oh what a dream come true that would have been :)
But sadly, thats all it will remain for me. A dream... You see, as soon as I took my first bite I knew I had made a mistake. This gummy is too difficult to chew... In fact, it reminds me of a poorly cooked stake. By the time you swollow a bite all the flavor has been lost...
No one likes chewing tough stake, because it's like chewing meat flavored bubble-gum. Only, instead of spitting it out in the end, you swollow it. Well in this case you have a similar issue. Once you're tired of chewing it, you just wanna spit it out. Why bother with the extra calories?
What I mean is, halfway through chewing- the flavor & sourness is lost. And so is your willpower to eat the rest...
I tell ya, these gummis should be packaged & produced by Ford. Because they're built tough.
Are you following me? TOUGH! ________________________________ I am giving this product 3 stars because honestly I've found that if you chew 2 at a time (one on each side of your mouth) really, really, fast, then they're not half bad.
But still, I wouldn't buy these in bulk. It's just not worth it. ESPECIALLY if you've never tried them before like stupid me. -_-
Good gummi alternative July 12, 2008 Love the Haribo (see my review on their Gummi bears). This candy is a good alternative to the Gummi bears. I can't eat too many of these without getting the "over soured" taste in my mouth, but this is the case with any sour candy. I like it, but I have to use it in moderation.
The consistency is great, the sour with the coke bottle flavor is a unique experience. Again, you can't go wrong with the Haribo line (except for some of their weird fruit lines)
Good stuff June 10, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
different, a tad tangy and then gives way to sweet, mild cola flavor. Kids and adults will gobble this up. Haribo rocks.
