My family, unfortunately, knows that I dislike cooking. I like to eat good food, but I dislike all the preparation. I try, but nobody's too happy with my cooking, and this job does fall to me.
While looking for some easy Indian recipes, I came across this sauce, as well as the Tandoori sauce (which I haven't tried yet). I made it today. Nothing at all could be easier (unless they diced and trimmed the chicken breast first)! And, it is simply delicious! The instructions are so easy, too. Take 4 chicken breasts (there is enough sauce in each jar for an additional chicken breast or two), dice it and saute in a little bit of oil until cooked through. Add the entire jar of sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. And, that's it! Serve with rice, add a salad and that's it!
My entire family loved this and would have had seconds, had there been more. I NEVER (literally) am able to serve a meal that everyone in the household enjoys. Throughout dinner this evening, everyone was remarking how much they were enjoying this.
Although my grocery stores carry a wide variety of other ethnic foods, they do not have any Indian foods available, and the closest Indian grocery is quite far from my home (despite the local Indian population). I was so glad to see this available here! It took about a week to arrive using the free shipping option.
