Very good August 30, 2008 I was looking for a low salt sardine and I found this one .I would recomend this to any one.
Good and Low Sodium August 23, 2008 The cans I bought have between 3 and 5 sardines. They don't have the full flavor of those in olive oil w/added salt. When you want low sodium & lower fat you have to accept some sacrifice. You can always add a bit of extra virgin olive oil. I like to eat them on bread w/green onions or tomato slices. Generally they were fresh w/o a fishy taste. Overall they were rather good & priced right.
kitty May 27, 2008 Reese Skinless & Boneless Sardines in Water, 4.37-Ounce Cans (Pack of 20) Sardines are the one great food for all around health and these sardines are very tasty. I feed them to my 16 year old cat and since syarting she has regained her smooth shiny fur. In addition she is much more active. She will play more like when she was much younger.
So happy to have these back in my diet April 15, 2008 My favorite grocery store quit stocking this brand of sardines a few months ago. I searched for them in several different stores to no avail. I was so disappointed as these are my absolute favorite. They are so good for you and the low sodium is a bonus. I found them on Amazon and it turns out they are less expensive than in the store (even including the shipping expense).
Very good sardines February 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very good taste and texture. Much more pleasant than sardines with skin and bones. And all of the fat comes from the fish, which I like for health reasons.
As expected for sardines in water, they are a bit dry, but since sardines are an oily fish, they aren't extremely dry like Tongol tuna in water. They are good as is, though sometimes I add a little extra virgin olive oil, mayo, or mustard.
The flavor I think is a little better than other inexpensive brands I've tried in stores.
(I try to reserve 5 stars for an exceptional product. To me, 4 stars is well above average, and I don't have any reservations recommending this item.)
