Jane Parker Fruitcakes are really the ones to buy, especially if you remember eating one from A&P as a child.
I looked for years to try and buy one...and last year, I found them here.
I purchased the light cake last year, but this year have tried the dark one.
Both are excellent, but I believe the light one is the best. After trying them both, it was the light cake I remembered from my childhood in the 50's.
Fruitcakes are an old object of many jokes...but believe me when I say, these will make you smile as you enjoy them, with many memories, and good taste.
Full of good fruit and nuts, no citron. Lots of cherries. The cake is there, but mostly the fruit and nuts. And sorry kids...I am hoarding the cake I got this year, too...you will have to treat yourself to one...this one is MINE!

My Mother Loves these fruitcakes!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for offering them this year. It's going to be a early Christmas present. She has tried every fruitcake out there and says Jane Parker is the only fruitcake worth eating. Again thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
