 Great at packing on muscle, but with the artificial sweeteners and sugar, it gets 1 point off March 19, 2010

I would like to start off by saying, this is a very good product. I packed on a LOT of muscle in a short time period, relying primarly on this product alone. As in I was only eating 1 or 2 actual meals a day, and replacing 4-5 with this protein shake. I put on a lot of muscle from doing this. However due to the sugar and artificial sweeteners it has, and the large doses I was taking of it daily, I ran into a few health problems (nothing serious, but serious enough to stop me drinking them to let my body rest for 2 weeks). I have to say that I will be getting back onto it soon (but only 2-3 a day, rather then 4-5 lol) simply because it really does work, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because had they not put sugar and artificial sweeteners in it, the product would be unbelievably perfect. I drink the double rich chocolate with water, and it doesnt taste bad, just dont expect it to taste amazing (no protein shake is going to taste good in water only, at least it doesnt taste bad lol). My training goals are strictly to place more muscle on my body, and this does the job very well. Since this product is not made with protein from meats, it is of course going to be harder to digest for your orgrans, meaning drink LOTS of water so your Liver and Kidneys dont get screwed up. Also something I intend to be adding to my plan with this next week is to supplement Omega 3 along with this to make up for the balance of less shakes a day. (Omega 3 increases the amount of protein that goes to your muscle, meaning more muscle is created because of it). Hope this review helps.

This is your basic no frills, trusty old whey standby. Always among the cheapest available, and definitely the easiest to find. Tastes like choco milk. Can't go wrong!

It doesnt tastes as great as everybody claims it does. I found Muscle Milk tastes better. In terms of results, I dont see much of it, mainly because i am still in the first month of using it? Everything else ok right now. If I have a better opinion than just the taste, I will drop by later.

First of all I am a huge fan of this stuff and have been using it 5yrs, I've bought the strawberry and vanilla flavors, My goals are weight loss and nothing else comes close to this product, I've tryed countless others.
Reasons I only buy the strawberry or vanilla flavors is I don't want a gunky flavor, if I wanted a junk flavor I'll eat junk, I add 10oz water 3 medium strawberrys, half medium size banana, 1/4cup blueberries, scoop of whey powder, and 1 tsp glucomannan powder, and 2tbls ground flax seeds and 1tsp l-glutamine powder, 1 tsp greensuperfood. I drink this for breakfast a half hr before I go to the gym, then I drink another protein shake after, adding only vegtables with the vanilla whey protein, I have been full of energy and have lost 30lbs in 5wks, along with drinking plenty of fresh squeezed lemon water and lots of fresh vegtables and fresh cooked fish dinners tilapia wild caught...back to the product I love this stuff and will not switch to another.
