I've been eating Uncle Sam's original cereal since the late 1970s, and I've never been disappointed with it. I love the crunch and the nutty, wholesome flavor. It really stands up in milk and doesn't get soggy. Usually I add a few raisins, walnuts, chopped dates, and dried, sweetened cranberries--that's a breakfast that keeps you satisfied for hours. Be sure to shake the box back and forth before pouring out the cereal so that the flax seeds, which sink to the bottom, get mixed into each bowlful. Lately, various grocery stores have stopped carrying Uncle Sam, so I am forced to buy it on Amazon.

I wanted to get more fiber in my diet and greatly reduce my sugar intake. I love the fact that this cereal has no sugar and lots of fiber. I add cinnamon and a little bit of Truvia (natural calerie free sweetner) and this becomes a real treat!

I've use Uncle Sams on and off for about 3 years; and it has been a miracle food for me. I have M.S. and am on multiple medications, They really upset my stomach and cause bloating and worse yet~constipation. The cereal takes care of those ugly symptoms,and leaves me feeling much better. Less bloating,gas, and all the rest. It is a wonder food~plus it tastes good! I even take it to work. The little flax seeds give the flakes ann awesome contrast.
The cereal is very hard to find~so having it here on Amazon is awesome. I would love to see Uncle Sam cereal in a protein bar form~hope the manufaacterer is reading this,,
