Medicinal honey November 14, 2009 C Flyer (OK City) In very few words, this product works. The price is the best and I recommend it.
Excellent Product for Digestion November 11, 2009 ddscotten (Massachuesetts, USA) I have just started to take Manuka honey for my digestive problems and this particular product is probably much better than others on the market. It is to be used medicinally once or twice a day, depending on one's system. I found it to be very stabilizing for reflux problems. It is also good for healing wounds and skin outbreaks.
Super Honey November 9, 2009 Evan Walters Excellent for use on band-aids with cuts and scrapes. I fell on a sharp bamboo shoot a little while ago and got a big gash in my knee; I used manuka honey on it and it healed up very quickly with little scaring! It also tastes great in tea or on bread (however you would use honey), and helps with a sore throat. Google "Manuka Honey" and you'll find a multitude of uses for it.
Nice manuka honey November 8, 2009 Edward Escott (Pittsburgh, PA) I am now finishing my third bottle of Wedderspoon manuka honey. So far I have been very happy with it. I take manuka honey daily for its presumed health benefits, however unsubstantiated they may be. It seems to keep me healthier and makes the duration of a cold shorter. That may be all in my head, but so be it ... that means it works for me! ;-) Regardless, I have tried a number of different manuka honeys over the years. This one is not quite as thick as others, but it is not runny either, and is does have some substance when scooped up with a spoon. The flavor is moderately sweet and not medicinal. It tastes similar to other manuka honeys that I have used. The price is very competitive, particularly with the "subscription" discount. I am finding this to be a quite satisfactory and good tasting honey and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
Manuka honey for indigestion or facial masks November 4, 2009 E. Shelton (Lufkin, Texas United States) This honey tastes different but good imho. It did not work well for me for indigestion. It does make a nice facial mask mixed with Fullers Clay for my rosacea sensitive skin.
Not sure I'd buy this honey again considering the high cost.
It did come with a seal over the honey so no leakage as previously
noted by other reviewers.
