Product Description Traditional Japanese Soup. All natural instant soup. In Japan, miso soup can be found on the breakfast table or at the evening meal. This authentic soup combines the perfect balance of white and red miso with tofu, fu and scallions. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you are sure to enjoy this soup which is rich in tradition.

Delicious! November 20, 2009 N. Baca (Worcester, MA USA) A fun and fast meal that isn't noodle based. Plus, this miso is thicker than most which gives it more flavor. In the winter, I'm always looking for more types of soup to eat. My only complaint is that there isn't enough tofu.
Only Have the BEST to Compare this to October 5, 2009 Debra Taplin (Nevada City, CA, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read all the POSITIVE reviews on this Miso soup before buying, and hoped it would somewhat compare with the soup I had gotten at the Japanese restaurant we frequented. But, alas, I'm afraid it didn't come close. I did like the sea weed and onion and would like to have had more onion in it. The actual soup base itself is missing something; maybe fish sauce, soya, or SOMETHING, though it was salty enough. I am sorry to be a bum note in the feedback circle, but I AM a perfectionist when it comes to "taste".
great shortcut miso August 12, 2009 R. W. Taylor (Ellijay, GA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As someone who has created their own scratch dashi and cultivated their own miso, I can tell you this is a bargain - a full and chunky miso with quality all the way around.
I'd order a case now if I could. Shame they don't always have it in stock here.
perfect lunchbox meal September 4, 2008 Bevan Wistar (Washington-Baltimore USA) my daughter is a vegetarian and i pack her lunch for her. while it is easy to find things to send her off with, providing her with variety is tough. along comes San-J... she will take 2 packets of the white miso and a (refilled) bottle of water for a wonderful soup. all she needs is a microwave and a bowl.
aside from the convenience, the flavor is wonderful. we like white miso for its subtlety.
when this 36-pak runs low i will be getting more. five stars.
Great Quick Miso! April 12, 2008 hopharveyhop I love miso instant soup. I have tried several brands, this one is my favorite!!
