1 out of 5 stars The good reviews just mystify me   September 24, 2009

I don't understand how anyone with a pair of taste buds to rub together would give this bread a 5 or a 4 or a 3 or even a 2. It's simply gawdawful bread. I'm not sure that it should be called bread lest the wrong impression be created. I got a sample pack of 20 different breads, two slices each, of gluten free breads from EnerG. I've tried 6 and of those 2 didn't make it thru the first bite and actually I didn't swallow those. Of the remaining 4 the grades (I'm keeping track in case I find one I like) range from C-F and there's just the one C. I may give up bread altogether if this one is considered good. I don't think I can handle much more crushing disappointment. I'm not blaming EnerG, the ingredients are the ingredients....

4 out of 5 stars Light bread with good taste and nutrition!   July 2, 2009

A nice bread for light use, kind of flimsy for some sandwiches. Nice tase and good alternative to wheat, though a bit "yeasty". Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Great Substitute for Hamburger Buns   January 18, 2009
Open W. Banks (Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ United States)
We use this product as a hamburger bun. It works perfectly once lightly toasted. It is also great for grilled cheese.

3 out of 5 stars Good but there's better...   July 16, 2008

My son tolerates this bread but we've found that it is dryer than some of the other Ener-G Loaves. It was slightly cheaper than some of the others as well... It is better for toast than sandwiches.

5 out of 5 stars OMG its good!!!   April 8, 2008

WOW! I am so suprised. I have tried a few differant kinds of GF breads, because my husband can't eat gluten. I being a bread eater found almost all that I tried to be un-ediable and uterly repulsive. BUT this bread was good, so good in fact I went and dubble checked to see if it was GF because I thaught I might have mistakenly ordered the wrong thing. Then (now this is the really supriseing part), I went back for more. I had two slices of thoast. It smells like bread, feels like bread (maybe just a little gain-y), and taste just like bread. I can't wait for my husband to try it.
