2 out of 5 stars Dry and gritty   November 15, 2009

I have to eat a gluten free diet and thought this would be great , i can have bread again. I have to admit the taste was not bad at all but the texture was gross it was dry and gritty. Was like stale bread and when you bit in to it felt like you had sand in your mouth, i couldnt stand eating it.

4 out of 5 stars light rice bread   January 21, 2009

its a little on the dry side but if you use a spray butter on it, it turns out very well and jam, yummy!!

2 out of 5 stars Something about this...   January 11, 2009

I've tried eating this a few times over the years, but always seem to have an allergic reaction to it. Also, it has an odd sweet taste that is unappealing.

3 out of 5 stars I would rather do without bread then eat this   January 8, 2009

I have eaten a few loafs toasted. I made tuna fish sandwiches it worked well. I tried this as an egg sandwich the taste of the food I was eating was not strong enough to compensate for this breads flavor. It worked well with a cheese burger. I prefer the popcorn waffers with cream cheese and a lunch meat best. The expiration of this bread is measured over 12 months out. Might try again or just go to a speciality bakery instead. I recently discarded three loafs that had not expired so that I had the space instead. Bread is not that important to eat when it tastes like this. A bowel of rice works well enough. SJR

My daughter has autism so we are trying Gluten free diet! This bread did not help! It was almost a month out of date, it was hard and not very good! My daughter just will not eat it! Thought it was a good deal but just a waste of money.
