My daughter, who just turned 13, loves this bread (she has a wheat allergy). She heats it in microwave for 10 seconds and puts butter on it. She eats it every day. I also cannot eat wheat and I like it better toasted. Good alternative to the real thing...but you will find nothing is just like the gluten version!

this is the only gluten free store bought bread we like..has a pretty good shelf life due to good pkg. and holds together well to make grilled cheese sandwiches, toast, french toast and cheese bread. very glad we discovered this and is always easily available on amazon.com

Not a bad choice for a multiple-use bread. Nice texture. For those with wheat allergies, most of their line of breads are pretty good. I especially like the ones with more fiber, as this one has.

My wife is allergic to wheat products and we found Amazon.com and the Gluten Free products offered. Wow! She can eat sandwiches, pasta, cookies and fresh home-made pancakes again and it's wonderful... The easy to order and free shipping option is wonderful for us who are handicapped, and have trouble going to the grocery. The bread is less expensive than in the health food stores and the delivery to the door is the best. You save gas, time AND money while getting a GREAT TASTING product. Although it taste different than wheat products, it's a godsend! Thanks to all those who help produce products for those who need gluten free, wheat free products to enjoy life like everyone else. We strongly recommend this product and all the gluten free products listed on Amazon.com. We're looking for a tortilla recipe so that we can enjoy home made burritos, rollups and chicken wraps that we loved before she became allergic to wheat. Hope to see that on the list soon too! Ener-G's tapioca loaf is by far their best "bread" product (the others being too dense and filling). That said, don't buy it expecting a soft, chewy slice. Both texture and taste do not resemble wheat bread, but I still find it a tasty alternative, especially toasted. Be forewarned: I have had quality issues with Ener-G. It seems that each loaf varies in size and texture -- some are large and airy, some are short and dense. Once I got a shipment of 6 loaves of stale rubber. I called the company and received a new shipment at no cost. Overall a good buy -- and a great deal compared to what you'd pay at the supermarket!
