You will LOVE this soup! I had two people from work taste it and both of them loved it - one immediately went on line and ordered it from Amazon.com. It's a hearty soup and leaves you satisfied.

I've tried several of the McDougall's vegan soups, and the black bean and lime is by far my favorite. It's thick and flavorful, and has just the right amount of spice. I usually add some Matouks' hot sauce or some tabasco, but I like really spicy food.
This is a healthy, hearty soup that I would recommend to anyone - especially vegetarians like myself!

Good values: no fat, high fiber, high protein, NO CHEMICAL ADDITIVES!
For my diet this is a great lunch at a very reasonable price. I like the taste too. I am not vegan or even vegetarian, but limit my intake of animal products where possible. All-in-all a very good deal. I followed my initial purchase of one box with a second purchase of three more. I keep a supply on hand now.

This soup is a great lunch at work- it's easy to make- just add hot water, it's very filling, and it's very good for you - lots of fiber and protien. The bonus is it tastes great too. The lime adds a nice light taste- you don't always notice it, but when you do it's a nice surprise. Amazon has a great price and I love the subscribe and save. i have lunch delivered to my desk!

I didn't really like this soup as I found it rather boring to eat. I mean, the lime flavoring was a good idea but it should have been a little more powerful you can only vaguely taste it in the soup if you concentrate. Overall, I dont think it had enough pizazz. I mean, if you like to eat plain beans you will like this but if not...-_-
