Product Description The supergrain ancient food for today. 100% whole grain. Excellent source. Whole Grain Quinoa is the most nutritious of all grain. It's high in fiber, a good source of Iron, and has all eight essential amino acids. So, it's no wonder that it was a primary staple of the ancient Incas of South America. Quinoa has a delicate nutty flavor and is very easy to prepare, Widely versatile, it's great by itself or in any recipe that calls for whole grain. Our Quinoa has been thoroughly rinsed and air dried to remove the naturally occurring bitter saponins, so it can be used without rinsing. USDA organic. Certified 100% organic by QAI. All natural. Bob's Red Mill products labeled gluten free are batch tested in our quality control laboratory. We use an Elisa Gluten Assay test to determine if a product is gluten free. Quinoa is perfect for entrees, Elisa and salads calling for whole grains. It is light and delicious while being quick and easy to prepare. An ever-increasing number of people with food allergies find that organic Quinoa permits a more normal diet.

taste great with Jasmine rice together November 13, 2009 J. Wang I found that cooking quinoa with Jasmine rice together, the texture is better and taste is great.
First puting rice in rice cooker (must add a little more water than normal). when the water is boiling, put some quinoa in the rice cooker and mix well with the rice inside. Closing the cover and continue cook like normal cooking rice alone. When the cooking is done (hearing the beep from rice cooker), open the cover and cool off.
High Protein October 16, 2009 Lori Asfar (West Hempstead, New York United States) I first tried Quinoa at my sister-in-laws. Purchased on-line because I couldn't find it in any store. Rinsed it using a coffee filter in a strainer. I added onion, lime zest and then squeezed in the juice from the lime and had it as a side dish. Brought some of this batch to work to re-heat in the microwave, but I wasn't happy with how it came out.
When it was cooking, it made the kitchen smell like over-boiled potatoes, which I didn't care for, but my husband did. The second time I cooked it, I added black beans and I liked it this way much better. It really makes a complete meal that way and I found it very filling. Will be making it often, because it's so easy!
Great! September 27, 2009 L. Lane (somewhere over the rainbow) Great tasting, healthy and you can't beat the price. If you are unsure about what to do with quinoa, just start mixing in things you like. Have a small child, mix in some sugar and vanilla and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Oh, and cook it with milk to get the added benefit of calcium and vitamin D.
Good product September 12, 2009 movie tantra (Princeton, NJ USA) Prompt delivery, nice packing, great product, good price. Need I say more! Eat it! Buy often!
Awesome September 12, 2009 Kathryn Olson (Green Bay, WI) This product is the best quinoa I've had. No rinsing necessary which makes it easy to make.
