 An expensive option for face cleaning. October 6, 2008

Let me start out by saying that I kind of like using this little device. The pads lather up well and are rough and scrubby. That said, the vibration that is the "hook" for this product is wasted on me, in that I manually scrub the thing all over my face because the minimal vibration doesn't feel very effective. Also, because the head of the thing is over an inch wide I have trouble getting into the crevices around my nose.
The replacement pads are expensive, but I've found that I can give the pad a quick rinse after use while it's still attached and use it a second time. I get nearly as much lather the second time around.
It exfoliates well and makes my face feel smoother for a little while after use, but I don't see that my acne or blackheads are improved yet, although I've only been using it once a day for maybe two weeks. I know it takes at least that long for a cycle of existing acne to heal up, so we'll see.
Frankly, I think I'd buy just the pads and forget the gimmicky vibrating handle. At least these pads are thicker than regular acne pads and won't roll up while you're trying to use them.

i had tried the similar little machine by neutregnea and didn't like the smell. this had a pleasant smell and had a nice rich lather. it left my skin feeling a little dry but it does have acne medication on it so i expected it. but a few minutes later, i had itchiness! I think i just had extra sensitivity to this product. all in all, it works like it is supposed to, lathers great, wish it had the option for just regular face wash with no acne product.

When I saw this product available through Vine, I couldn't believe it! My girlfriend was just telling me about it two days prior. Well, she and I have two different types of skin, but one thing in common, we both try just about every beauty product out there on the market. So, without hesitation, this was my choice.
She asked that I try it and tell her what I thought. Her skin is oily, and she seems to have a problem with blackheads in the T-Zone on her face. Not many, but enough to notice and she's tried several other products that just didn't seem to work for her. She said that without a doubt, this was one of the better products on the market. It did exactly what it said it would do, erase the blackheads, the only problem, because her skin is oily, and if this is your problem too, it doesn't stop them from coming back and the replacement pads (for what it's they are worth, I think are expensive).
Now, when I tried it, I liked it much better as an exfoliator. Same problem with the replacement pads though. There are so many better exfoliants out there on the market and that's really not what this is for. I fortunately have normal to dry skin and no blackheads. But, when I read that it also exfoliated the skin, I thought it was worth a try.
I'm certainly glad that I tried it and I do like it for certain things, but if you're looking for your miracle cure through this product, it probably isn't going to happen. This is just my opinion and there are so many types of skin out there that it's hard to say. So what works in one way for one person, may work in another way for someone else.
Pros: Great exfoliator
Gets rid of exsisting blackheads
Leaves skin Smooth and Beautiful
Cons: Expensive Replacement Pads
Doesn't stop new Blackheads from Forming
One more thing, if you have any blemishes that are open, or any skin that is chapped or broken on your skin, it's not advised to use this product. Problem skin? It's worth a try. See for yourself!
good price for a portable cleaner October 4, 2008

if you were looking for a portable face scrubber at a reasonable price, this is not a bad product. The abrasive scrubbing motion is not too vigorious and the cleaning pad does not sting. The whole product comes with 20 refill pads and a battery.
I like the fact that the pad, once used, can be peeled off and replaced. The refills are not too expensive either. I would say this product is not for those with serious oily skin problems. But would be a great add on to your cleansing routine, or an alternative to using the manual cleansing pads. After using it for the last 6 days, there are some areas that look better than other areas.
if you are looking for a more effective product, I would recommend neutrogena advanced solution, but is at double the price.

Let me say that I was excited to see this product on Amazon Vine, and I actually like to use it. In my honest opinion, it is not a bad product for deep cleaning your skin a few times a week, but I didn't find that it erased any blackheads. After using the product, your skin will feel tingly clean, but I am not sure what the vibrating motion really does for the product. I think most of the benefit comes from the Salicylic Acid on the pad although the vibrating motion does make the pad foam up well. Although the vibration does make it feel like it is doing more, and makes your pores feel open, it seems like the motorized part is more superficial than beneficial. My skin felt very clean, but a little dry. Although it wasn't so drying that a moisturizer couldn't fix it. So if you are looking for something to make your skin feel clean, then this might be for you, but I don't know that it is a miracle product by any means. You might get the same benefits from a good face wash, although it is fairly reasonably priced as far as similar products go.
