 K2O vs. Crystal Light. April 7, 2008
In addition to K2O now, I am also avid user of Crystal Light and the Propel Mix (during a workout). Each has its own strong and weak points.
First, the K2O cannot be compared to Crystal Light, simply because Crystal Light is able to do a better job of getting the exact taste of the flavor better - they don't have to deal with the Whey Isolate or Fiber that K2O obviously provides. However, these ingredients do change the taste a bit, and you will get a slight after-taste if you are sensitive to flavor.
That said, the K2O does an excellent job of actually managing my hunger. I have to admit that I was skeptical when I first saw the claims, but it certainly tides me over for an extra hour to 90 minutes before I have to have my lunch. Crystal Light simply didn't do that for me.
4 stars for doing what it claims. 1 star off for the (slight) after-taste. Kellogg, if you are listening, how about more "compatible" flavors to Whey and Fiber, say, just strawberry, instead of strawberry lemonade?
Perfect for dieters March 23, 2008
I have been dieting and one of the requirements is to get lots of water in everyday. As much as I love to drink water, it is good to change it up a bit. A friend offered me some of these and that was great for me... I love them.
I mix one packet with a full quart of water for a less sweet, less Crystal Light taste. Milder flavor.
The packets are fairly large, but they are still quite portable, it is not a problem.
I have been using two of them a day for the past two weeks and will continue to use them.
I also have read that it is important to get more fiber when you are dieting too, so this product really helps with that, plus the carbs and calories are very minimal considering what you are getting.
My favorite flavor is the lemonade followed closely by the iced tea flavor. I am not too crazy about the strawberry kiwi flavor... it reminds me of that nasty fake kool-aid flavor.
If the Kellogg people ever read these.... how about introducing a Tropical Punch flavor instead???

Love this product! Why didn't anyone think of this before? This really dampens my appetite and tastes great.
It also mixes completely if you do it right. Put a cup of water in the bottom of your container, add the K2O, shake it up, then add ice and top off with water. Doesn't clump if you do it that way. Use one envelope with about 20 oz of water. I drink it all day and get an extra 10 gr of protein and 8 gr of fiber. Terrific product!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All shipping stuff aside, When I look for reviews I want to know about the product. Well this tastes fantastic and hold me over until lunch just fine...I have recently started drinking one before dinner. Anyways, they taste really good, just wish the product was more readily available, I am lucky to get a box!

Item is very tasty and works at making you feel full. the fiber and protien are enough to take the edge off between meals and the taste is very pleasant.
