I agree with the other one star reviewer, accept my through put has reached between 2-10Mbits. Don't waist the time on this device.
 Great Product to Share Your USB Drives October 31, 2008
This product is great. In just a few minutes I had this connected to my home network and sharing my WD250 hard drive. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to share a hard drive at home. This transfer speed is fast enough for what I am doing. I have 3 computers that share the hard drive I have connected to the device. Two of the computers are running Windows XP and the other one is running Windows Vista. I did install the latest firmware.
It has been running for a couple of weeks and works perfect.
 OK Using Default Settings October 19, 2008
My expectations for the NSLU2 were fairly low, be able to access a USB external drive on my internal network. The device works well in this regard as long as you accept that access is somewhat slow when running at b/g wireless network speeds.
The device came up using the supplied software CD. No problem. The problem arose when I changed the default IP address (this feature is supported). After changing the IP address I could not access nor "see" the device, even after disabling my firewall. I called Linksys support and spent over three hours on the phone with them to no avail. They could not discern the problem and we eventually reloaded the firmware.
We were back to square one but the device works at the default settings. Leave the settings alone and you should be fine.

Very nice device. Slient and cool running, it really does allow you to share USB drives on the network. The only thing is that this device is very slow.
Don't expect to start copying multi gigabyte size files at high speeds.
But for small files or for streaming music, it works great!

Product works as advertised. The hardest part is addressing its default IP which isn't necessarily on your router's subnet and isn't documented very well. Once that is overcome, everything works great.
