 I like the product, It's powerful. October 21, 2008
I already had one. This is the second one for my husband's office. I like it because it's very powerful especially it helps me get rid of the dust and hair on the floor and table. The battery is longlasting after fully charge. My husband hates to use the regular vacuum as long as he is willing to use it. i would be happy. The downside is that it's pretty heavy and noisy.
Great Handheld Vac for the Money September 29, 2008
I really like this Dust Buster. It has great suction, and is a must with small children. Since I've purchased it I've used it multiple times per day. Sure beats taking out an upright vacuum every time you have crumbs to clean! I chose this model because it has far more power than the lower models, and it's been worth every penny.

I have 2 dogs (that shed like crazy) and am always either too busy or too tired to clean when I am home. I got this Dustbuster in an attempt to live in a less furry apartment given that I have wood floors. The regular vacuum is too much of hassle to get out for everything and I am hardly ever motivated to sweep + mop. This product is AMAZING for sucking up dog hair, dust, etc. Definitely ranks as my new favorite toy. I bought it Target and have had none of the quality problems that the other reviewers did. The only issue I had was one of the anchors bent (thus was unusable) as I was mounting it on the wall - but that was mostly my own dumb mistake & the base has managed to stay up anyhow. Great product - highly recommended for anyone that does not have time/energy/desire to spend hours cleaning!

This is GREAT! I got it on sale and I didn't even realize it had the extra attachments. It sucks everything in it's path, the filter 'declogger' works good - when you need it, I've used the extender, but only to reach tight spots, otherwise it sucks so good you don't need it. The filter was easy to clean, I tossed it in the dishwasher (because my husband cleaned up a bunch of spilled granulated garlic and I figured if it got ruined I was going to have to replace it anyway). I'm very happy and can't wait for another sale so I can get a second for the upstairs!

Don't buy this! There's a better one to buy. We owned two Dustbuster CHV1400 14.4 volt for years. They work well but we finally wore the batteries out. So, we bought two of these 15.6 volt Cyclonic CHV1568 Dustbusters two months ago. They have a design flaw that makes them not NEAR as good as the CHV1400. I'm on Amazon tonight to buy two CHV1400, because they work FAR better than the CHV1568.
Here's the flaw. In the CHV1568, the filter gets CLOGGED ALL THE TIME. The moment it gets clogged, the suction gets weak. We use these twice a day and we have to clean the filter every day. It's a mess, has to be done outside because dust gets everywhere. But, if you don't, they lose most of the suction. The filter is slightly different than the filter in the CHV1400. In the CHV1400, the filter doesn't get filled nearly as often, and when it does, there is still a reasonable amount of suction.
Also, there's another defect. The CHV1568 has a fairly wide mouth but inside, that mouth narrows. That gets clogged up too, with pieces of paper, all kinds of things.
In summary, I'm on Amazon tonight buying two new Dustbusters to replace the CHV1568s. I'll either get the CHV1400, or I may try the CHV1500. After being so satisfied for years with the CHV1400, I'm getting rid of these two CHV1568s.
