Nice saw November 14, 2008
So far I have used this saw for laying flooring and general remodel type work. My concerns were that this reconditioned saw would be pretty beat up and they would have just cleaned it up and slapped some new plastic on it. This was not the case. New 60T blade on it, new work clamp, new dust bag, it looked like it was a demo model. The only thing it could use was new screws on the blade cover, and the detent lock bolt was bent and would not thread in. Its strong points are its adjustable so you can make everything square. The detent locking positions are very tight. The miter and bevel gauges are accurate and easy to read and finally the power is very good. Even with an 80T blade it cuts easily. The dust bag is pretty worthless but they all are. I expect this saw to outlast me. I think its your best bang for your buck on amazon. There are also numerous other reviews on the web praising the saw.

I wish I had this saw from the start of my flooring project. It works and looks like new. This thing was almost perfect out of the box. I only had to make one adjustment to the bevel cut, other than that it was spot on. I also changed the blade to a Diablo. The dust catcher is joke, but aren't they all....
