 Great Transition Cup. No Valves. No Leak! November 12, 2008
This is a great transition cup from sippy to open cup. Liquid is dispensed when the child pushes on the button and the hole automatically shuts when pressure is released. Once the hole is shut, there is no leak even if it's upside-down. I also like the non-slip bottom. The lid has a one-piece design. So, there are no worries about losing valves when cleaning the cup. Oh, it's also BPA-free.
Areas for improvement: 1)add insulation so that liquids can stay cold, and 2) make it slightly bigger - it only holds 9 oz. Most sippy cups hold about 12 oz.
It would be great if they make something like this for younger children.

We love this kid's mug. It's an easy transition from sippy cup to regular cup with no spills!
the cap has threads on it so you twist it on and secure it for no leaks--and it hasn't popped off in any way for us. We love that it's BPA free.
The only bad thing that we see, is that we wish it was a bit more insulated. Other than that, it's a wonderful kid's cup!

The other review must have received a faulty cup and the woman should contact Contigo's customer service at gocontigo.com. I have a set of these mugs for my 4 year old and they are great! She feels like a big girl now without a sippy cup, and I have no worries about her spilling on anything in the house or the car! Great colors, fun button for her to push, BPA free...she just loves them, and so do I! I recommend them to everyone!!

Looks like a great product to transition children from sippy cups to lidless cups unfortunately there is a big design flaw. The top pops off easily when children press on the valve to open the spout.
