| Customer Reviews:
Great, Powerful and Quiet. Worth every penny. July 8, 2008 I decided to purchase this water pump because I use to have the older model and it also worked great. This new and improved model is much improved, quieter and more efficient at delivering water. I recently went on a 10 day camping trip with my family of 20 where every morning and night this water pump was used. It worked exactly as I would have hoped. It used only the 2 D batteries the entire time and never lost any power. It was great to use for washing dishes, getting drinking water or anything else you may need out of a 5 gallon jug of water. For the price that I paid ($12.99) you can't complain too much about how it made of plastic or as the water gets lower it gets a little louder (requires more power to pull the water up the shaft). As an experiment I filled up a 5 gallon jug of water and turned on the pump. It pumped all the water out in about 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Roughly about a gallon a minute (there is about a half gallon left at the bottom because the shaft doesn't go all the way down). Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this item to anyone. It served it purpose and I might purchase another one just to have on hand.
