Perfect for Brooklyn May 27, 2008 My yard in Brooklyn has two patches of grass among the various landscaping, trash, pigeons, rats, hypodermic needles and beer bottles. This thing works like a charm to quickly and easily trim up small yards with no messy gas and it also works as a club to remove unsightly bums who may have passed-out in your yard. Get a move on, buddy, I've got to cut the grass! It's also very safe for this type of product (I accidentally ran it over my bare feet the other day, not even a bruise. FYI this is NOT RECOMMENDED but I thought I'd let you know. Okay, look, just don't use it on yourself, even if you're into that sort of thing. Geez, now this will probably be deleted.) Easy to use, easy to store, great for small patches of grass.
Weeds hate this product! December 26, 2007 Weeds watch out! This is a simple, yet effective, tool that easily spools additional thread. The unit is fairly light and is assembled in just minutes. No need to spend more.
OK for tiny jobs November 14, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not impress with this one - works well for tiny jobs but forget large areas.
As good as it gets October 30, 2007 I've had this weed eater for several months and it cuts right threw the worst of grass & weeds with no problem. But like all the weed eaters that I've had and used, you have to keep the spool area clean or it will not feed the line. Some times you have to take the spool out during use and clean it out to get the line to feed. It would be nice if someone could make a weed eater that had a sealed spool so it wouldn't build up with dirt and stop it from feeding the line. But all & all it's a good weed eater
works good for the price August 6, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Does exactly what I need and does it good. I have 100 feet extension cord and it allows me to reach every corner on my back and front yards. The only drawback I found - sometime the line cuts too short and you have to extend it manually... Other than that it works great.
