Great accessory for your new TV January 18, 2008
I ordered this kit to go with a new HDTV and receiver set. The first one I got was missing a HDMI cable (the main reason I ordered it) but Amazon quickly sent out a replacement. The cables themselves are mid grade, there much better then cheap ones from a walmart or target but don't feel up to a "monster" cable. With that said however they work great. I have a monster HDMI and I could not tell any difference from DVD -> Receiver -> HDTV using the monster cable and then using the Cables to Go cable. The surge protector is nothing special....its actually a little bulky but I definitely do not get any extra "noise" through any of the components. For the price the kit is definitely worth it...I didn't even need the composite RCA's or the digital optical connector but the other stuff would have been more if I purchased it all separately so now I go a good kit and a couple spare pieces for less then what I would have spent on the individual pieces I needed.
