 Works Well - Adjustments are Inconvenient October 1, 2008
This sprinkler works well but overall I do not like it:
1. the width adjustments are difficult to change. You have to pinch two tabs and slide the adjuster which bends the flexible tube from which the water shoots out. I seem to have to pinch them very hard and I feel like I am going to break the plastic.
2. It is difficult to exactly adjust the range. This is very inconvenient compared to oscillators that have tabs on the side to control how far in one direction the sprinkler goes. This one has a dial that you have to set - and you have to do it before you turn the water on or you will get soaked because you can't rotate the sprinkler manually - it doesn't budge. So it's a bit of a crap shoot getting it to water exactly where you want it to.
3. It stops for a bit at each end of the oscillation resulting in more water being delivered in those spots than elsewhere.
Adjustable Sprinkler May 28, 2008
I read the the previous existing owner review and bought one of these and agree with her review. This thing is nearly all plastic so I don't man handle it but because it is flexible plastic it allows for it to be adjusted for wide or narrow spray which has been very handy. This thing has proven to be the most reliable to turn on and forget vs. the moving tractor and other sprinklers I have tried which tend to get caught or gears stripped. This also waters very evenly and is QUIET. I give it 4 stars because it is plastic so my kids won't be inheriting it but then again if it were brass it would not be this adjustable.

I had never before encountered such a peculiar sprinkler when I purchased this product. It has, however, proven itself very convenient. I have a long, thin garden and used to battle with conventional sprinklers that watered too much or too little. The adjustability of this model is perfect for my little Eden. Good luck.
