Nice improvement over the old wooden traps February 21, 2008

I bought a few of these after the rats became afraid of my old-style wooden traps. I have to say that they are a nice improvement. The plastic will not stain or take on a smell. They are also easy and safe to set, with very little chance of busted fingers. The bait hole also lessens the chance that a rat will take the bait without springing the trap.
I caught one so far with these. I could hear the rat thrashing about for several minutes. That never happens with the old wooden traps, they die instantly with those. I would still recommend these new traps just based on being safer to set.
