Not heavy duty enough for blackberry thorns May 11, 2008

The finger and palm area of these gloves is not heavy duty enough to prevent penetration by blackberry thorns. The reason I got them was to protect my arms while cutting down blackberries. However, I managed to put on heavy duty short leather gloves over top of these gloves and managed to achieve both arm and hand protection.
