For the $, this is a really decent product that keeps you from the annoyance of swapping your regular glasses for safety glasses every time you need a closer look.

What a difference being able to see makes! No issue dealing with the bifocal lines...you get used to them very fast (and I can see my tape!). Only one slight criticism: the cover for the glasses is great to have, but it is too small to cover both lenses completely. I have already scratched the outside edges of the lenses while they were in the cover hanging on my belt.

A really great product that is lightweight and crystal clear lenses. The magnified portion of the lense is perfect. My only complaint is that they are made for a fat face so there are gaps. Even with this drawback they are very good for my needs but maybe not as good for construction work with flying small pieces of debris.

I bought these for work. (dental hygienist) I ordered an RX that was slightly too strong and I've noticed that they fog up sometimes when I'm wearing my mask. So, I've had to go back to the pair I was using before. I still would recommend them though because most people wouldn't have the fogging problem that I did. And, with the correct RX, they would be great. I'm sure I'll use them in the future when mother nature strikes and my eyes weaken further. :)
A real valuable purchase June 30, 2008
I wish I had purchased the bifocal safety glasses much earlier. I am in the wood shop a lot. Eventually my old eyes were not able to focus on the ruler. I could put on my reading glasses to set the table saw fence, but then if I looked up I could not focus on the table - not a good idea with a spinning blade. Now, I can set the saw, mark the lumber and when I look up, I am still in focus.
