Amazon.com Product Description Precise, versatile, and easy-to-use are the words which best describe the Incra 6-Inch Precision Marking T-Rule. Think of it as a combination square for marking or measuring that's simultaneously set to every scale position with perfect, instant accuracy. There are micro-fine marking holes and slots at every 1/16-, 1/32-, and 1/64-inch scale position to instantly locate your sharp pencil or scribe exactly on target with zero uncertainty. The Incra T-Rule makes it very easy to draw exact lines in either direction, and with zero uncertainty and no eye strain. Other features include 0- to 3-inch height markings on the end in 32nds, and the option of marking holes every 1/100-inch. The product also comes with a limited 1-year warranty.

Neat gadget - Easy to use to draw a parallel line to an edge. July 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a neat gadget to draw a line parallel to an edge at a specific dimension. As they recommended, I used a mechanical pencil, .5mm, and the lead just fits right into the 'tiny' holes. There are so many holes, you will be sure to find one dimensionally close to what you need and much easier to use than trying to pencil mark off the end of a ruler and square. AND this T-Ruler is 100% repeatable rather than using the end of ruler, trying to set the ruler and tighten to repeat what you set earlier to use in your project. The fine lead repeats its mark so much better than using a wood pencil tilted against an edge guide. The holes are many and very small. By putting masking tape or a paper label on top and marking/punching through the tape, the hole(s) you are using lets you easily use them again in your project. Highly recommended . . . In fact, I went back and purchased a 12" T-Ruler.
Great time saver and convenient tool to use May 22, 2008 Very satisfied with this marking t-rule. Incra did a great job in designing and building of this small tool which saves a lot of time for me. Two knobs and t-track hold rule are easy to change and they are self allign when you change the position of the rule. Would like to have all 3 sizes of this rule (3,6,12inches).
Nice addition to the shop's measuring instruments. April 19, 2008 This is a very good tool for making accurate marks. Not an absolutely must have shop item but nice to have. If it also made the mark, I'd have given in 5 stars.
Incra T-rule March 31, 2008 Very accurate. The body could be a bit heavier, maybe .010" thicker. You have to be careful because I think if it dropped on a concrete floor, it would be done for.
Works as advertised January 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Incra T-Rule06 is a great little helper in the shop that works the way it's advertised. It comes precisely aligned and ready-to-go. However, be warned that it does neither replace a marking gauge nor a combination square. It is rather complementary to these tools and fills its own niche.
