 Works Like a Champ August 9, 2008
This Condensate Pump was bought as a replacement for the same make and model that was approx twenty years old. The new unit hooked right up and has been working ever since. This unit is curentely attached to my indoor ac unit. Works great.
 More work than I expected July 10, 2008
This was a direct replacement for another KT-15 pump that failed. The pump works ok, but I ended up having to move parts from the old pump to the new pump (a safety shutoff circuit/float). I'm sure that I ordered the wrong variation on the pump, but the frustrating aspect is that I knew what I was looking for. The product descriptions just were not adequate to pick what I needed.
I suppose this product is usually purchased by HVAC pros. If you are a DIY, though, I recommend that you talk with a real sales person, to be sure you get what you want.
Simple yet efficient July 8, 2008
I needed this product to drain excessive water from a portable air conditioner.
I found this product first rate. I thought that the tubing it uses (3/8") was going to be supplied with it but it wasn't. Which I bought at the local hardware store.
It is quiter than I thought it would be and works very quickly.
The only problem that I found was in the drain/supply tube installation. Make sure you don't put in an excessive amount as it may jam the float. This may prevent the unit from operating.
Overall I would say it is built and operates better than expected and made in USA (motor was made in Mexico).

Pump ordered was an exact replacement for one which had seen years of duty. Pump arrived in less than one week and was installed and put to work immediately.
