Item is easy to assemble with instructions that are not difficult to follow. For the price, this unit has a fair amount of capacity, though, like all wardrobes, it shouldn't be overloaded.
Great unit for keeping dust off of clothes.
 Too wide for the weight October 30, 2008
First, the directions were missing a part about putting the top "rectangle" together before putting it on the base. Then they said nothing about putting the hanging rod in the lower holes rather than the upper ones. But the worst part of all is the "durable steel" hanging rod. I barely had the closet 1/3 full before the rod bent, came out of the supports, and dropped all the clothes to the floor. Also the "shelf" is made of woven material. Putting things on it causes it to bow and put weight on the hanging rod. A lot of clothes can fit in a 46-inch wide closet--if it is strong. You'd be better off buying 2 23-inch wide closets. Then maybe the hanging rods would support the weight so the closets could be filled full. I'm surprised there were no middle supports for such light-weight rods. Overall, I recommend against buying this closet.
