Amazon had the best price and my battery looks and works like the original. Black and Decker wanted more money for the same item.
Battery Replacement January 12, 2008
This is a "hard to find" but necessary part of my favorite cordless drill. I was very happy to find it reasonably priced on Amazon. It is the authentic replacement, so I know it will hold the charge and work when I need it to.

I was wasting time looking for a replacement battery and was not willing to get ripped off for $70 to $100 for a stupid battery. Other cheaper batteries did not have the charge rating. I found the same rated for the best price on Amazon and they shipped it immediately.

Works fine, charges fine. Doesn't hold a charge as well as I'd like, but it gets the job done.
