 Nice Solid Key but Wrong Size June 20, 2008
Make sure you have EXACT measurements for the key you need, because if it's off by a millimeter it may not work. Although these keys that I ordered looked the same size as what I needed for my secretary desk, they were a fraction of an inch off. (I only had ONE original brass key left.) Fortunately, I was able to use them for a computer desk. Furthermore, the original keys from the computer desk fit into the secreatry, but these keys that I ordered only fit into the computer desk and not the secretary desk. Go figure. So now I'm using the keys from the computer desk, which aren't as nice, for the secretary, and I'm using the new keys for the computer desk, so it wasn't a total loss.
