Product Description For chop saws and radial arm saws. These top-quality miter saw blades produce perfectly cut miter joints. Made with double-hard C-4 submicron carbide for up to 300% longer life. A heavier than normal steel plate and a negative face hook maintain maximum stability for the best cut. Each blade is hand-straightened to a runout of .001/.002 for maximum cut quality. The tooth style (4 points and a flat) maximizes steady, clean cuts with no bottom splintering. You will be amazed by the extra-smooth, tight cuts you will get with this blade.
Amazon.com Product Review We're rarely speechless around here, but after bringing this blade down through a gorgeous piece of maple, it nearly happened. We knew that Forrest makes some of the best blades on the planet, but we truly weren't prepared for the gorgeous cut we got with this blade. On the back side of plywood, we had zero tearout. When we cut a length of 8/4 oak, it felt like a hot knife through butter, and the result was too good to be believed: smooth as glass, completely free of circle marks of any kind, and it looked like it had been sanded already - cut after cut after cut. You can pick up a miter saw blade for a tenth of this price, of course. It will cut. But it won't cut like this. And it won't last as long as this blade will, not by a long shot. Because it's made of double-hard C-4 carbide, it holds it edge for what seems like forever, and it resharpens beautifully. Forrest spends a good deal of time on each blade, ensuring that it's as straight as can be, and that's part of what you're paying for. If you spent good money on a decent miter saw, you owe it to yourself to put this blade on it. After parting with your money, you will never regret buying this blade. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

I can't beleive it!! October 29, 2008 Unbeleivable... Now I know where the term "cuts like butter" came from, Forrest, that's where.
forrest cross cut blade September 4, 2008 in a word: AWESOME! this blade cuts thru wood as if it is slicing thru air. no vibration, no noise or whining, just smooth as butter performance. Its expensive and i was hesitant as well as comparing it to the slightly cheaper freud blade, but i have no regrets at all, only awe, and would buy again and again.
amazing August 13, 2008 There are those rare times when a product is more then one could imagine. The difference between this blade and a DeWalt 80 tooth fine cut blade is amazing. This blade goes through hardwood like butter and leaves a perfectly smooth cut with no chip out. It might be twice as much money as a "good blade," but it's worth every cent. What a great product and I don't even work for Forrest.
Very good blade July 16, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This one cuts great and stays sharp longer than the other blades I've used. But it is spend'y. Smooth, nearly no splitter, cuts with a polished edge that needs little to no sanding. I can't compare it to a Ridge Carbide and Tenryu blades yet, but it has equal or better cut than the Freud sliding miter saw blade, and it holds its edge longer. I'll compare it with the RC and Tenryu blades when I get them and update.
As advertised, smooth as glass May 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Mounted this blade in a near-new Dewalt sliding compound miter saw. I really did not believe any saw blade could produce "smooth as glass" cuts in a miter saw, but I was wrong. Tried it with 3/4" plywood, OSB, particle board, and hardwood. And a 2x4 that was laying next to the saw. Truly smooth as glass, I was happily surprised. Have a lot of stain grade crown and other molding to run, looking forward to doing it with this blade. I'd buy another one, in fact, I probably won't buy anything but Forrest blades from now on. Hurts my wallet to say that, but this blade is just magic.
