Rowenta Focus = Booya November 6, 2008 As a younger gentleman I have a natural antipathy towards ironing, it represents a great source of consternation in my otherwise insouciant life. So when my oldschool Rowenta Prolix broke, I took the auspicious opportunity to upgrade my piece, as I spend a wholly inordinate amount of time ironing for the workplace these days.
Also, as a testament of how moved I have been by this purchase, we'll reiterate the fact that I am a younger gentleman, who generally doesn't write reviews for irons. To keep it succinct, the Rowenta Focus with it's 1700 Watts of alternating current power is mindblowing. This piece eats wrinkles like Rosie O'donnell eats cupcakes, with a voracious appetite for ever-smoothing your most wrinkled attire.
Enjoy the German craftsmanship and buy this piece!!

Rowenta Focus November 3, 2008 I splurged on a Rowenta when my old iron broke. It is much more effective at removing wrinkles. I like that it's a little heavier, has a pointy tip to get around buttons, and produces LOTS of steam. It hasn't leaked water like my old iron. I would prefer a longer cord that retracts into the base.
Great Iron October 24, 2008 Iron is very sturdy and the fine tip makes it easy to iron collars and around buttons. Heats up fast which helps if your in a hurry. Wanted an Iron that would hold the test of time considering my wife's 15 dollar iron lasted 10 years. People have experienced trouble with its longevity, but as a family we iron on occasion so hopefully we can get 20 years out of it. In-laws have same company and their iron is going on 7 years.
Very Disappointed October 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have only had this iron for 2.5 months and it is leaking like a sieve. I will return it for another model if BB&B will take it back. I have the receipt but not the box so we will see.
Rowenta Iron Review October 12, 2008 I love this iron. Most steam I've ever had from an iron. My friends love it, and have ordered theirs. "Pointy" nose really great in tight places. I actually like this new iron better than my old Rowenta. I would have still been using my old iron, but I dropped it. My husband said it was unfixable!!
